Green Entrepreneurs Partnership
The EU Green Entrepreneurs partnership offers expertise in both
business and environmental fields. It constitutes an ideal platform
for the development of a high quality training tool for green entrepreneurs.
Together we comprise two SME support organisations in the UK and
Ireland; an environmental training agency focusing on social inclusion
in Barcelona; Denmark's national and international showcase for
energy and environmental solutions; a Polish ecological foundation;
and a business training and consultancy provider from Northern
Ireland.

Banbridge District Enterprises Ltd (BDEL) are a Northern Irish business
support organisation dedicated to the development of economic wealth
in the local area and beyond. Established in 1989, BDEL have become
the focal point for developing businesses within the region and
work closely with the local public and voluntary sectors. They are
accredited with ISO 9002 and provide a quality service in all aspects
of economic growth. In addition, they have extensive experience
of co-ordinating transnational and multilingual projects, having
successfully led two Leonardo projects.

Wspierania Inicjatyw Ekologicznych (PL)
The Foundation for the Support of Ecological Initiatives (FWIE),
based in Krakow, Poland, is a non-governmental organisation created
in 1989 to support environmentally friendly activities. Working
in conjunction with NGOs, statutory organisations, businesses and
citizens, the Foundation's work encompasses all aspects of environmental
management and green services. In particular, they have organised
over 15 conferences on topics such as waste management, environmental
law and EU regulations.
In the past, FWIE have led and been responsible
for narrative and financial evaluation in a number of international
projects, among them a three year environmental sponsorship initiative
run by the government of the Netherlands.

' s national and international showcase for energy
and environmental solutions. Green City Denmark is
organized as a limited liability company with more
that 250 shareholders - companies, municipalities,
co unties, and institutions etc. from all over Denmark

partners both within the public and private sectors.
The main purpose is to market Danish expertise within
the ?eld of environmentally sound production and sustainable
solutions.

Initiative Economic Development (IED) is a business training and
consultancy provider operating in the areas of local, regional,
enterprise and employment development throughout the European Union
and further afield.
IED staff have extensive experience working
in a wide range of Leonardo programmes and, have particular expertise
in the development of multimedia vocational training tools.
At a regional level IED has an extensive
network amongst SME support organisations and have worked with
over 300 SMEs in training and development during the last five
years.

Longford
County Enterprise Board Ltd (IE)
Longford County Enterprise Board Ltd (LCEB) aim to promote and facilitate
economic development within the county. Believing that micro-enterprise
is at the heart of economic development, their work is focussed
on developing the indigenous potential of enterprise and entrepreneurs
and stimulating economic activity at a local level. Their business
services include financial intervention, management and development
training, mentoring and counselling support. The Board have been
involved in a number of European projects and are currently a partner
in an Equal project promoting entrepreneurship among women in Longford.
The Board recognises the strategic importance
of fostering the environmental sector as a key growth area and
are eager to develop training resources in this field. As part
of a network of 30 Enterprise Boards, they are well positioned
to maximise the potential impact of the training tool with Ireland.

Blau Verd (Es)
Mon Blau Verd is a Catalan institution which promotes training and
research within the environmental sector. They aim to promote social
equality among individuals through education and training and as
such, their work focuses particularly on those who are socially
disadvantaged or suffer social exclusion, such as women and young
people.
Mon Blau Verd operate a range of training
activities catering for all ages, employment circumstances and
skills levels, and have particular expertise in the production,
usage and evaluation of e-training courses. Through their work
in Catalunya combined with their previous transnational project
experience, Mon Blau Verd have established links with a broad range
of public and private organisations within the employment, education
and environment sectors.
